Analysis of the influence of television on the levels of obesity in adolescents: a systematic review
Abstract
This article aims to conduct a systematic review of studies evaluating the influence of television on overweight in adolescents. It was conducted a survey study of the SciELO Brazil-and Lilacs, capturing up to 14 articles that met all inclusion criteria. Most publications (07) found a positive correlation between obesity and habit of watching television, less than half (05) found no association reports and only 03 works exhibited positive association with other technological means. It can be concluded that an increasing number of studies investigating this association, leading to the need for programs that encourage the other forms of recreation, with consequent improvement in the nutritional profile and feed of this audience.
