elocities of growth whiten the body weight of rats manly wistar
Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the peak velocity of physical growth from body weight in male rats were selected in a non-probabilistic (accidental) 25 male Wistar rats of 3 weeks (21 days old) evaluating body weight (g) each week until the 16 weeks of life. For the statistical analysis used descriptive statistics of the mean (X) and standard deviation (SD) and to determine differences between ages were used two-way ANOVA and proof of specific tests (p <0.001). The results show that the peak growth rate measured by weight was at 42days, it defines three stages of growth and biological development, and possibly the initial, middle and end, which could help to select specific research groups.
