The physical education for 6º year of basic education in public and particular schools versus feeding, family and media
Abstract
The article to follow has as methodology the exploratory research of bibliographical qualitative matrix about obesity and the food in the schools collating the 0 variable media, family, and school and how this finish affecting the health of the searched groups. Two groups of the sixth period of average education, being of the public school and of the private school had been analyzed of physical, questionactive and mannering form. Collections of basic anthropometrics data had been made for calculate the IMC, had been delivered three questionnaires one for the direction in the intention to verify educative attitudes in relation to the good feeding, one for the canteens of the schools, to know what it is offered as food option, and one for the family, in the intention to know what food the children led to school for the snack when they did not take money to consume in the canteen. In relation to the pupils of the private college it was observed that three pupils are with low weight, four pupils were found with normal weight and two above of the weight. None of the evaluated ones in the particular college was found in the obesity band. Already in relation to the pupils of the public college no one was found with low weight, ten pupils with normal weights, no pupil with overweight nor at risk of obesity. We prove then that the children of the particular college have a bigger probability to become future fats than the pupils of the public college.
