Quantification of users of ant depressive flouxetina in academia Multmusculos and world sport in the cities of Arcoverde and Belo Jardim in Pernambuco
Abstract
The present work is to study the removal of people who attend the academies Multmusculos and World Sport in Arcoverde and in Belo Jardim, both in Pernambuco, who use the antidepressant fluoxetine for weight loss. Among the drugs used in more spoken of today when it comes to weight loss is to amphetamines, and more specifically to fluoxetine. Brazil today is a leader in the consumption of amphetamine, substances present in the medicine of appetite moderators. During the physical evaluation done with students in the academies were harvested information relevant to the use of drugs in one of the questions. As the positive response it was found that drug use, how long, by whom it was prescribed and for what purpose. Of the 1821 people examined more than 13% made use of the drug fluoxetine for weight loss to, of those, about 11% were male and 88% female, showing that women who are more used to the drug weight. The data collected is also found that over 90% used by prescription, but 40% of prescriptions were made by a gynecologist. The fluoxetine today is more substance issued by doctors in relation to weight loss, it was possible to check the huge lack of awareness by both doctors as well as by those users of fluoxetine, since the same although aware of the ills caused by the use of this substance still use just to get a body a little better and feel more lean.
