Os traços de personalidade associados ao desenvolvimento da obesidade
Resumo
A obesidade é uma doença multifatorial silenciosa, fatores como: herança genética, ambientais e motivacionais e os mecanismos de controle que modulam a ingestão alimentar e o gasto energético propiciam a instalação da obesidade no organismo humano, pesquisas na área da psicossomática confirma que alterações no âmbito das emoções podem afetar significativamente o corpo físico desencadeando alterações nas sinapses dos hormônios no organismo humano. Neste sentido o objetivo do presente estudo e levantar na literatura cientifica os artigos que relacionam: conflitos emocionais, traços de personalidade e associar com a obesidade em adultos.Para a realização da pesquisa foi realizada uma revisão de literatura envolvendo estudos nos últimos 5 anos de pesquisas longitudinais, transacionais, exploratórias nas bases de dados na área de saúde, como: Pubmed, Psycarticles (APA), Web of Science, Bireme, Lilacs e no Google Acadêmico. Os termos buscados foram: obesidade (obesity) e traços de personalidade (personality traits) e conflitos emocionais (conflict emotional), no período de 2010 a 2014. Com intuito de investigar nos artigos publicados nesse período a relação dos conflitos emocionais e traços de personalidade influencia o desenvolvimento ou instalação da obesidade em adultos.Os resultados encontrados por meio da revisão da literatura sobre a temática, foram: neuroticismo, impulsividade, depressão, baixa conscienciosidade contribuem para com o desenvolvimento e a manutenção da obesidade.
