Alteration in the body composition of submitted individual pre-adolescence obeso the alimentary intervention and physical activity
Abstract
Objective: It is to analyze feed habits during pre-adolescence and relate to effects of nutritional intervention and physical activities incontrol or reduction of obesity in individuals, as well to know the factors that determine obesity in this age group. Material and Methods: Cases studies involving pre-adolescents in the period of March/2004 until August/2006. It was based on weight and height evaluations and 24 hours retelling in every appointment, as well nutritional reeducation. Results: It was noticed an improvement in their nutritional state, having noticeable fall in their BMI (Body Mass Index). Discussion: Results demonstrated that nutritional education with physical activity practice is very effective. Conclusion: Nutritional care is a very efficient measure, because it helps to avoid obesity and the diseases related to it. This confirms how much is extremely necessary measures that facilitate knowledge about the different kinds of food, its benefits and harms, in order to avoid serious nutritional deficiencies that are still in population.
